Spring is coming!!!

Hey everyone,

I have not posted much in the past weeks, because I have not much to report. I am sure as time goes and it gets warmer, there will be plenty of pictures to post.
This weekend was great.. I was outside tons and was playing in every puddle imaginable... Great times!

Next week my family and I will be going on vacation someplace warm.. I can hardly wait. My dad and I even made a count down sheet until our time of departure. Each and every morning that I wake up I cross a box off and we are that much closer to our flight. YEAH!
Hope you all have a wonderful week and I will report to you when I return.

Hope you are all enjoying February....I have been doing so many different things, it has been hard to keep everyone up to speed.

Earlier this month, I enjoyed my first time ever Ice Fishing Trip... It was great, because it was pretty warm out. We had a great big crew that went with us. We started out slow, but then ended up with a decent meal of fish. My job was to clear the ice out of the holes with a strainer, also make sure the fish we had caught did not flop back into the hole. My dad caught a 24"northern and my mom caught a 22" Northern. Grandpa Steve caught a big mouth Bass and the remainder were pan fish. I had a great time and will have to do this again.

Later that week I was able to go over to Grandma Debs and Grandpa Steve's house and eat dinner and Bake Valentine Cookies. It was a ton of fun... they were the best cookies ever. We frosted them; Red,Pink and White.

On Thursday night Feb. 12th, I was able to help celebrate the Birth of Grant William. Brad and Sarah welcomed their second son. CONGRATULATIONS!! I was really excited to go and see him and I even asked if I could hold him.

Over Valentines weekend, my family and I took a trip to Wisconsin Dells. It was a mini getaway to do something different for a change. We went shopping a the outlets, swam in the pool a ton and ate at different places. My favorite place to eat with the Cracker Barrel (which I recommend) There was lots to do that and they had all my favorite food, and after that they had a gift shop with all sorts of things in it. I got go my first ever gigantic lollipop sucker.. It is bigger then my head. I am still not even finished with it.

Till next time...Lots of Love, Elliott

Hey Everyone,

How are things going....I do not have much to report. There is not really much to do in the winter time here in Wisconsin and the temperature has been below zero for many days.
A few things that are going on is that I have joined a swim class at North Star Middle School. This is the second level of swimming. I have completed the first class last year. My dad still has to be in the water with me, but I love it a lot. Some kids you can tell are not having a lot of fun, but I love it so much that I don't really want to get out of the water...however it would help if the school heated the pools a bit better. The water is a bit chilly.
Daddy and I made a great big chocolate cake to help celebrate mom's Birthday... we had some family come over and had a great time.
The following weekend Grandpa Steve and Grandma Deb offered to bring us the National Eagle center in Wabasha, MN. It was about an hour drive from where we live. IT was soooo cool. I got to see 4 live Eagles about five feet away from me. All of the eagles that are brought here have been injured at some point and are unable to make it on their own. So they use this place for educational purposes...like did you know that an eagle weighs only about 10-12 lbs...who would have thought.. I guessed 40lbs after seeing them right away... there were so big and could no longer fly. There were 3 bald eagles, and 1 golden. The golden was my favorite. We had a great day. We then stopped for Pizza and ice cream!!! My favorite. I hope you all have a wonderful week and will talk to you later. Love, Elliott Lewis
