Doctor Update...3 Year old Well Check

So today I went to my new pediatrician. She was great! Here are my new stats

  • I now weigh 32lbs-50th Percentile (this means that I am right were I should be)
  • I am 39 inches (3feet 3in)-80th Percentile(this means that only 20% of children my age are taller then me.)
  • My vision is excellent
  • My blood Pressure was 90/52 (Normal for my age)

Additionally I had to take a 20 question quiz to see if I was able to identify different phrases, pictures, shapes and coordination Skills...Unfortunately after that I had to get a flu shot when I was there, and I did not like it at all. My mom Had to hold on to me! I kept saying over and over "that lady hurt me mom" It was really sad.

So what I know now is that I am a very healthy 3 year old that is growing like a weed! I do not have to go back until my 4 year check up if all is well.

3 going on 15

Hi Everyone! I am now an official BIG BOY!!! if you will... That is what my mom says anyway.
I have had a great couple weeks. It started with my birthday party on Sat. Oct. 11th I had all my friends and family over for a big party! It was a perfect day out, it was so warm out that day that we were able to be outside in our back yard. It reached 76 degrees that day. It was great my daycare friends and neighbors came to my party. I absolutely love hanging out with all my friends. My mom says that someday I will realize how lucky I am to have all my family and friends that live by us and are there for me. I have a total of 3-great Grandmas, 2-Grandma, 1-great Grandpa, and 2- Grandpas. I am so lucky to have them all in my life and help me celebrate my big day. Additionally both my aunties and uncles live close to me too. I got so many great gifts, I got a kitchen play set, a frog tent, a portable dvd player, Diego games and movies, PJ's, photo frames, and some extra saving money and much more! Then my official B-day was on the 15th and mommy and daddy took the day off with me and we went out to the apple orchard and picked out some apples and a great big pumpkin and a couple small ones. I love the orchard that we go to, there is a barn with animals in the back and there are two pot belly pigs that are back there and are quite entertaining to watch. Then that night they took me to my favorite place to eat..Pizza Delre. They do not care how messy or loud you are and they have good pizza.

This past weekend mommy went away for a night and went shopping with Grandma Deb and Auntie Laura and Daddy and I hung out all weekend and did boy things.."we never tell mommy what we really did all weekend!"

What I have learned this past year..
  • How to put on and take off my shoes
  • How to dress myself
  • How to count to 15
  • How to count to 10 in Spanish
  • Potty trained...I love big boy underwear!
  • I have learned the first 8 letters of the alphabet so far
  • I now play catch with my dog Beau
  • I can ride a bike
  • I have advanced from baths to taking showers
  • Learned how to ride a four-wheeler (with daddy of course)
  • Sing a variety of songs

and most importantly

  • I learned how to get my way most of the time!!!

I am going to see a new doctor tomorrow for my 3 year old check up... I will update you all on how big I have gotten in the past year. Wish me luck and I will keep you posted.

I am offically 3 years old!!! Ladies look out!

I am almost 3 years old!!!!

Hi everyone,

I know that I have not been that good with keeping up with my pictures lately.... Its mom's fault! Since I have posted last time, we have been busy almost every weekend. I know this is old news, but I got to see the Blue angels come to town and they were really amazing! I did get to go into the airport and watch the planes all week long. They were so loud, but it did not bother me. I had my earplugs in. I did get to watch them practice during the week and then when it was time for the show, I fell asleep about 10 minutes before they flew. Mom for sure thought I would wake up when they started to fly, but nope! I slept threw about half of the show on my moms lap. I must have been really tired to not hear that loud of a plane.
I have also been up to my Grandpa's land a few weekends in a row. I really love it up there. I especially love to four-wheel around, with my dad's help of course. We always have a lot of people up there and its a great time. I got my first battle wound from up on the hill, right across my nose. That is just in time for my Three year pictures!!! Mom says we will have to wait for the cut to heal on my nose before that can happen. It is already getting a lot better.
As for other news my Grandma and Grandpa Gladwell officially moved into their new home... well they have been there for about a month, but the construction is done and their house looks great!!! Congratulations!
Well, next time I post, I will be 3 Years old. I have a party coming up this weekend with my family and I am so excited. I told my mom I wanted a dinosaur party, and that is what she said we are having... My actual Birthday is on the 15th of October, but its in the middle of the week. I will post my pictures from my party so you can all see how big I am getting.
Talk to you all later, Love Elliott Lewis

Daddy's Birthday

September is here!!

Hey everyone,
Sorry it has been a few weeks. WE have been really busy. A week and half ago we helped celebrate Daddy's Birthday and we had the whole family over for dinner, cake and ice cream and then after that we had a bon fire. I also got to invite some of the neighborhood kids over too!
After that weekend Mommy was sick and so was our dog Beau. So Daddy and I got to share some quality time together. We kept busy all the time. I even went to Menard's and got a whole bunch of wood to help build a deck in our back yard. I got to ride on the carts they have there for stacking wood. I rode around the whole store on the pallet.
This week I also went to Church and had our pictures taken for the church directory.. This is the first professional pictures that I have taken since I was 18 months old.. not that my parents didn't try, I was just very difficult an never liked to have my pictures taken. So with that said they went really well and mom even promised me a sucker if I was good. So that sealed the deal.
On Saturday I hung out with mom and dad all day and then around 4pm. I went over to Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's house to spend the night. I had a great time. Mom and Dad went on a date and went to a movie. When I woke up at Grandma and Grandpa's house they made me waffles and Eggs....
This week there is not much new yet! My mom keeps telling me that its going to get really noisy this week at the airport. The Blue Angles are coming to town and they usually arrive a bit early and fly around our neighbor hood. We have tickets one day to go in and see the planes and the other day we are going over to Larry and Linda's house for an airshow party.
I will let you know how I like it... Take Care, Elliott Lewis

Hey Everyone... We made it back from camping and no injuries!!! We got up to Ekes Hill on Friday night and it was a bit wet and Daddy got the camper all set up and we were ready to go. It was a great weekend. On Saturday we went for a few four-wheeler rides and then we took the boat out on Amacoy Lake and laid in the sun and fished for awhile... again we did not catch anything!!! Then we ate out at the Wonderspot on Amacoy and played arcade games and ate pizza. Later that night we were back at the camp and made a great big fire and roasted smores and watched the stars. We saw 3 shooting stars that night. Then Sunday morning we were all packed up and headed back home...I told mom and dad that I didn't want to go back home. I love to four-wheel. It was my favorite.
This week is my first week back at Krissa's house for Daycare. I am super excited to see Kyan and all the other boys again. I have been talking about this all summer :) For those who did not know I was at Sarah's house all summer and I will miss seeing Caleb. It was great to make a new friend. I will let you know how it goes...Hope you enjoy all the pictures of my camping weekend.

Hey all,

I have posted some pictures of our trip to Hayward, WI. We drove up for a day with grandma and grandpa WE stopped at a place called Wilderness Walk. For anyone who has kids, this was great. There were so many animals that I was able to walk up to and pet. I also got to go panning for gold. After that we went to eat at Coops Pizza. What a great time. Then we went to Daddy's old lake (Sand Lake) they used to have a cabin on and went swimming.
This coming weekend we are going back up North camping up by Bruce, WI. It should be a good time. Mommy and Daddy have the camper all ready to go. I will let you know how it goes... Have a great week. Love Elliott Lewis

Wilderness Walk, Hayward, WI

There was Deer everywhere, it was really neat. At one point there was about 40 deer in one location. You were able to go up and pet them and feed them. A couple of the bucks had 10, 12,14 points on them. It was really neat.
