1st Fall trip to Eke's

We took our first trip up to Eke's this past weekend and it was a bit windy, but turned out to be a great day. It was also a working day. The boys pictured below were working on the road up to the land. So they were really busy. Then we did have some time to play after that.

Another Great fishing Trip

We were able to go back up to the Red Cedar Lake and do some fishing. We have our own personal Guide named Larry and Denise. My parents came along too for the day. It was great to see them again and they allowed us to stay up at their cabin. We caught a lot of fish, but for some reason we didn't take a final picture of the fish! We did catch a bunch that we had to throw back. Elliott mostly liked playing with the leaches. Anytime someone needed a leach, Elliott was their man. He did also manage to pull in a few blue gills and learn how to reel them in.
Here are the leaches that kept Elliott busy the whole fishing trip. He took this picture himself, along with some of the others.
Here is one of the fish that we caught. Its not a great picture, and the fish looks like its eating Elliott's ear!
Elliott is Below here and it looks like it didn't load properly, but we had him wrapped up like a burrito when it got dark. He was getting cold.

Summer Kayak/Canoe Trip

We decided to go on a Canoe trip from the Chippewa dam to Lake Hallie. This trip took about 2 1/2 hours, so not that long. We did stop at a half way point and have some lunch by the River. The day was great and we saw a lot of wildlife and found a lot of cool rocks! I think if you asked Elliott the rock picking was his favorite part. Our boat was about 30 lbs heavier when we got home! Uncle Jared and Auntie Tricia also came along with us and took most of the pictures.

Happy 4th of July

This year the 4th of July was definitely a rainy one. That was just fine, because we had lots of great food to eat down at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's House.  Elliott helped me make this great fruit pizza that day. All the berries that we used were handed picked by us that day. It was a lot of fun and hope to make this again sometime.

Fore!!!!

We took a trip over to Princeton Valley to try out Elliotts new golf clubs that he got from his birthday in October. He was really excited to learn how to use them and did a really great job. Brent and Elliott hit up the driving range and hit a bucket of balls while I took pictures.

Happy Fathers Day to Dad...

Elliott has the greatest Dad ever. I didn't really take too may pictures from he day, so I thought this was a nice one. Elliott made Brent a beautiful card and he drew a picture on the inside of themselves playing soccer together.Thank you Brent for being such a wonderful father and husband!!!!

Elliott is really blessed to have so many friends that live in the neighborhood. He is never really board lets just say that. Pictured below is Elliott, Kyan and Keason

Our Camping Trip in June

We were able to get the camper ready and out for a weekend of Camping in June. We went to a spot we had been to last year and really like it. There are lots of places for the kids and dogs to run. Here are just a few pictures from the trip. I just realized I didn't take that many...but here are a few. Brent and Elliott had some squirt gun fights. I also decided that during camping we really dont' do that much besides eat and nap, and play.. we love napping while camping...its so peaceful.

Elliott and Molly Mae

Elliott and Molly have become really good friends. Everywhere that Elliott goes Molly is sure to follow....as you can see below she is really good with him and Elliott does a lot of imaginative play with her and she just goes along with it. These pictures were also taken while camping...

Pictures of the Blue Angels

The Blue Angels made it  a really loud week. There were many planes that flew by. Elliott loved to watch them. We were able to watch them practice all week and see their tricks right by our house. Here are some pictures from the week. Unfortunately the actual day they preformed, it rained a lot, so it was nice we were able to watch them during the week.
