Canoe Trip

This Year we sold our boat and traded in for a new Canoe. We are so happy that we did that. There are so many places that we can go that we wouldn't have been able to with our boat. We took our first trip out for a short 2 hour ride along the Chippewa River. We had a great day and we saw so much wild life.

See the Turtle on the log.

Look out Muckdogs on the loose!!

Elliott started to play T-ball in Hallie. Brent decided that he was going to be his coach. So Brent and the help of others are teaching 12 5-7 year olds how to play T-ball. Elliott is pictured below for his first ever game on June 2nd. His Team name is the Muckdogs. We thought it would be fitting to have Molly pose in the picture with him. Oddly, Elliott ended up scoring the first run of the game for the Muckdogs. The game was a blast to watch and of course after the game, I made the kids a yummy treat!

Minnesota Science Museum

We decided to take a day trip to Minnesota. We had never been to the Museum there and it was really neat. Elliott saw several dinosaur bones, animals, human biology, and meteorology.  One picture that I didn't take was that of Elliott panning for rocks. He got a whole bag of rocks that he really loved. He looks at them every day. After the Museum we ate at a restaurant called Buca Di Beppo's. This is a restaurant that Brent and I have been to a few times and the food is great.

Elliott Graduation night from 4K

So I think that I should explain......Elliott and his class had a family tie-die night and made some really cool tie-die shirts that they were all to wear to the graduation... you may notice that in this blog, Elliott will be wearing this shirt a lot.. it has now become his favorite shirt.

So right before the graduation, I asked him if I could take a few pictures of him before the graduation started. Well I think that Elliott got a little carried away and he started to get a bit goofy. You will see several pictures of him making silly faces, which I wouldn't see until after I looked at the pictures of course.

Once we got to his school and it was time to go on stage and sing a couple songs, he just stood there and didn't want to sing. He told me from the beginning that he was not going to sing... and that he did.. he was again all smiles once the performance was over with. In fact, he was dancing and singing in his seat next to his classmates.

A pleasent picture

This would be one picture that I said to make it nice and when I turned the camera around, this is the face he made.

Trip to Irvine Park, Chippwea Falls, WI

We took a trip to Irvine Park on Mothers Day. It was such a beautiful day out. We did go see the animals too, but not many of them were out yet. So we went to look at the old cave the park has.
