Florida 2011

We decided to take our usual trip to Florida this year, but only this time we choose to drive. I would have to say that I think going forward this is the only way to go. Elliott was so great all the way down. He didn't even nap as much as I thought he would. We stayed in a hotel half way both times. The first stop down we stopped past Chattanooga TN. We were in a little town called New Smyrna. It was nice to stop each night. We did a little sight seeing the next morning and off we went to our final destination, Kissimmee FL.

We couldn't leave Florida without eating at Jimmy's Buffett's Margaritaville. Elliott had never been there before. As you can see he really had a lot of fun. We all ordered our Cheese Burger in Paradise!

Ponce De Leon Inlet Light house.

This is one of the tallest light houses in the US. There was a total of 206 stairs to the top, which we all climbed! It was beautiful when we got to the top, as it over looked the Atlantic Ocean. Once we got to the top, Elliott asked " is there an elevator to get down." ....ummmm nope! We made it though.

Beach-Ponce De Inlet Atlantic Ocean

We were so lucky to stumble upon this Beach. I am not even exactly sure what the name of the beach is called, but it was in the town called Ponce de Inlet. Named after the explorer Ponce De Leon. We had the best day Ever. The ocean was pretty cold, but we were still able to pack a lunch and eat on the beach, build a sand castle and collect shells.

Gatorland

We stopped at a place call Gatorland. We had never been there before. There were tons of gators and cool birds, snakes, lizards and turtles to see. Elliott loved it.

Heading Home



We stayed in a City called Metropolis and if you all know Superman is From there!!



Riding Home~Junk food and Movie. What more could you want!
