Trains and Eagles 2010

We took a family trip with the Candells and on the way, we stopped to watch a train go by and walk across the bridge at the Lock and Damn...then we grabbed a great lunch and arrived at the National Eagle Center. As always it was a great time and Elliott loved to have Caleb around. The two get along great as you can see.

Eke's Snowshoeing Jan. 2010

This day we took a trip up to Ekes hunting land to try out our new snow shoes. The closer we got to where we were headed, we noticed off in the distance white trees in the skyline. This hill that we go to is about 900 ft above sea level, which must have caused the trees to stay icy for most of the morning. As we got closer we were on Norwegian Road and noticed the bright blue sky only in front of us, not behind us. It was worth the trip just to see how beautiful it was up there. Below you will see some pictures of the day that I took right from the car as we were driving. I am glad that they turned out so great.

Elliott Snowshoeing....Ekes Jan.2010

Thank you....

Thank you to my boys and my entire family for making my birthday so special. We celebrated dinner out at Manny's and they surprised me with a tiara making sure everyone knew it was my birthday...thanks again everyone

Time to learn....how to skate

Elliott and Brent and I received a new pair of Ice Skates for Christmas from Santa. Grandpa Dave has a pond down by his house and he so graciously plowed it off last week, so we were able to go skating. Elliott had a great time as did the whole family. I learned that I am a bit rusty after 20 years of not going. It was great to be a kid again and watch Elliott learn how to move his feet on the ice, with help from Dad

Antlers

Elliott was able to hold onto some very big antlers...they were a little heavy for him.

Elliott was able to meet one of his new 2nd cousins over the Christmas Break. Congrats to Ashliegh and Shane and their new baby Brooklyn. Elliott was so excited to see her and hold her... If he could he would have put her in his pocket and brought her home! He gave her lots of kisses

We all had a great time decorating Christmas cut outs. Grandma Deb made all the cookies and we took them home to decorate when it got close to Christmas... Elliott made two really special ones for Santa...
